                             Enabling a More Complete Education

Encouraging, Recognising and Valuing Life-Wide Learning in Higher Education

April 13 and 14th  2010, University of Surrey, Guildford, Surrey, England

Value Proposition

Many Universities and colleges are recognizing that a more complete higher education pays attention to students’ development gained through informal learning in the many aspects of their lives outside their programme of study. We are calling this life-wide learning to symbolize the many parallel experiences that exist in a learner's life at any point in time. This wiki and the conference provide an opportunity for educational practitioners to share ideas, practice and experience in order to gain deeper understandings of the ways in which higher education is enabling learners to make their own educational experience more complete.
